Late Saturday night, the Destiny servers went down, in the midst of the last weekend of Trials of Osiris. Thus far, Bungie has not commented on the outage, but it appears to be across both PS4 and Xbox One. The incident occurred around 9pm PT and knocked anyone that was online in Destiny to the start screen, after a brief error message. Attempts to reconnect (including those made by this writer) resulted in the usual ‘Contacting Destiny Servers’ error message....

While all of that gives players a lot to look forward to when Rise of Iron launches September 20th, a Bungie developer has just given fans of color coordination something else to cheer about. Bungie game director Chris Barrett took to Twitter late Friday afternoon to confirm that class armor will once again be affected by shaders in the coming expansion. [HTML1] For those unfamiliar with the concept, a “shader” in Destiny allows players to change the color of just about all of their non-gun equipment so that Guardians can customize their look and stand out a bit from the crowd if desired....

The original Destroy All Humans! only takes about 10 hours to beat on average, and less than 20 hours to 100% according to playtime aggregate website How Long to Beat. It’s possible that Karaagacli is just overestimating how long the game will take to complete, or it seems whatever is being added to the remake will genuinely add some extra time to the experience. Though most of the base game’s characters were confirmed to be part of the upcoming sequel Overwatch 2, not much information has been shared about Korean pro-gamer D.Va. Recent news from the development team talk about updated skins and reworks for heroes like Sombra and Bastion. Reports are also saying that damage-dealer Mei will experience changes in Overwatch 2 as well. Given that D.Va is one of the most known characters of Overwatch, fans are likely surprised and curious about why the development team has not announced anything about her....

CCTVnews.ca confirmed that while there were no injuries stemming from the incident, the man was charged with assault but the charges were later dropped as the fan issued an apology. A local policeman said that the fan was able to get the briefcase in through bypassing the security and when the other fans chanted for him to throw the briefcase into the ring, he did so. The fan is said to be a 31-yr old male and has been barred from future WWE events....

The production will reportedly be filmed in London, England, with Rob Letterman (Goosebumps) expected to direct. Very few confirmations have been made at this point, but the Detective Pikachu script will be written by Alex Hirsch (Gravity Falls) and Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy). Although no casting announcements have been made so far, the filming is set to begin so soon likely means that Pokemon fans can likely expect a reveal in the coming months....

It will be interesting to see how long Detroit: Become Human can keep the top spot, and if it can match the resilience of its predecessor. The game edges just ahead of Xbox One’s State of Decay 2 (No.2) and Dark Souls Remastered (No.3). Those curious where other games have placed can check out the top 10 below. Devendra Bishoo, an East-Indian by origin, made his debut for the West Indies in the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
