People expressing their feelings, emotions, or even just trolling via Twitter is certainly nothing new. This particular tweet however, caught the eye of Johan Andersson, a rendering architect at DICE working on the Frostbite engine and Battlefield 3. Johan not only noticed the potentially trolling tweet but he also took the time to reply. No matter which game you think will be better – Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefiled 3 – it is enjoyable to see a real rivalry developing....

However, this time around, the leaked information could detail the release date of the next big update to hit the operating system. Anton was out of the villa for Wednesday’s episode due to illness, iTV confirmed to Digital Spy. A Spokesperson for the channel explained what happened: “After feeling unwell during the day, Anton spent the night away from the villa and is subsequently missing from tonight’s episode. He has since returned to the villa.” The show’s narration also joked of Anton’s absence. “We sent him to Juan Juan the Medical Man, who gave him two weeks to live… before we send him off from the villa back to Scotland....

On its face, this doesn’t seem like much but it certainly helps support some theories running in the Destiny 2 community ahead of the Forsaken expansion’s launch. Given that Bungie has said the upcoming raid will tie into the larger story of the expansion, many have made predictions about who (or what) could be the big bad in the endgame encounter. Now that we know it’s a female, there are a few selections that stand out....

Now, much of what has been revealed about Armor 2.0 has had a welcoming reception in the Destiny 2 community. One fan even went so far as to create an Armor 2.0 perk calculator by repeatedly watching the live streams and reveals associated with the new system that will help fans prepare for their upcoming Shadowkeep builds. Of course, there is a bit of guesswork in some regards, but this calculator should be a useful tool for those prepared for Shadowkeep’s release....

Destiny 2’s 30th Anniversary Pack was released about a month ago, and it came with plenty of new content for players to look forward to, such as the Dares of Eternity 6-player activity and the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon. The former can be a great source for Halo-inspired weapons and other items based on Bungie’s past work, whereas the latter includes one of Destiny 2’s best loot in the form of Artifice Armor, which features a fifth slot reserved to artifact mods....

The Goonies is a classic adventure comedy film from the 1980s, produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Richard Donner. The Goonies’ all-star cast combined with its timeless story and sharp writing has helped it become one of the most popular films of all time, and if the theory from Reddit user hunchback78 is to be believed, it may very well have influenced Bungie when making Destiny 2’s Grasp of Avarice dungeon....

Bungie and Activision have yet to announce any sales numbers in regards to Destiny 2, although judging by the game’s player population, it’s safe to assume that the developer and publisher behind the game are enjoying a great level of success. And that’s before many official review scores posted, with many outlets conducting reviews-in-progress as they wait for more endgame activities, like the raid and Trials of the Nine, to go live next week....

But the biggest point of contention within the Destiny 2 community seems to be the treatment of hand cannons by Bungie. While the weapon class is still plenty popular in both PvE and PvP, many felt that that the viability of hand cannons in Crucible is relegated to a select few options. Specifically, most Destiny 2 PvP players like the 150 RPM hand cannon archetype – the same archetype that Bungie is effectively eliminating in Beyond Light....

Heir Apparent Damage Heir Apparent is Destiny 2’s version of a chain gun (like Sweet Business, but bigger), a heavy machine gun that must first be “spun up” before it can fire. As one might expect, this gives the weapon a high rate of fire and high DPS, but only if the player is relatively close to a target. In terms of base damage, the Heir Apparent is strong enough to compete with most heavy machine guns but it is not going to outclass the top tier DPS weapons in the slot....

Through the introduction of raid lairs, Destiny 2 is continuing the story of the Leviathan raid by sending players into new areas on the ship. The main raid saw fireteams venture through the main courtyard and proving grounds, before eventually tackling Calus in his throne room. Will the Real Calus Please Stand Up Only, as it turns out, this wasn’t Calus, but a mechanical version of the former Cabal leader....

These were mainly things related to Solar Titans and Warlocks, with Hunters being left virtually untouched in terms of their new kit. However, Destiny 2’s Season of the Haunted did launch with new Exotics for all classes, and the one dedicated to Solar Hunters was immediately considered a decent pick that could improve the general Solar 3.0 experience. The problem is that it didn’t really work the way it was supposed to, and Bungie’s recent patch addressed as much - but not the way players wanted....

The poster weapon for this Season Pass is something called Tommy’s Matchbook. Like previous poster Exotic Weapons, however, Bungie didn’t reveal too many details about it, aside from the fact that it’s an Exotic Auto Rifle. However, players with the Season Pass will be to retrieve the weapon the moment Season of the Worthy, goes live. So they’ll be able to discover things about it earlier than those without the pass, who’ll have to wait until achieving Rank 35 to grab it....
