Original story follows. Bungie released the Destiny 2 Witch Queen expansion late last month to rave reviews, with many fans praising it as one of the game’s best expansions to date. Now that Destiny 2 players have had time to complete the Witch Queen campaign, they’re ready to tackle the newly-added Vow of the Disciple raid. Unfortunately, it seems that the Destiny 2 Vow of the Disciple raid is suffering from connection issues at the time of this writing....

Bungie did not provide a specific release date for the Destiny 2 Witch Queen expansion beyond “early 2022.” However, it did provide some insight into why it made this decision. Primarily, Bungie is moving the expansion’s release date for the health of its team. Furthermore, The Witch Queen is also said to represent “an important evolution” in the game’s ongoing storyline. The Witch Queen is said to be massively important to the franchise, introducing story arcs and characters that will continue to be featured in Lightfall and the expansion that follows that release....

A major element to this event is a new 2v2 mode called Crimson Doubles where a fire team of two players goes up against another pair of players in an elimination style match. If one teammate goes down, the other living member will gain a buff called Broken Heart, which essentially boosts recovery speed and weapon draw rate. One thing to note here is that this mode does not have matchmaking enabled so players will need to be forming fire teams before jumping in....

As detailed in a previous story, Destiny’s upgrade economy got an overhaul with Heroic Mode’s release, taking Rare engrams from a 340 Light cap to a 365 Light cap. Likewise, the regular SIVA Crisis Strike playlist has also been adjusted to drop up to 365 Light items. Meanwhile, Legendary engrams and the SIVA Strike Heroic playlist have been increased from 365 Light drops to 385 Light. Weapons and armor earned in Archon’s Forge has also been increased to 385....

But while many of these feats are impressive, they usually don’t get the recognition that a speedrunner or a high score runner might get. However, one group of Destiny 1 players has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for their impressive raid run. The group in question beat every final Destiny 1 raid boss, back-to-back, without firing guns, without dying, without wiping, and all while completing the challenge for each encounter....

In preparation for the King’s Fall raid’s launch, Bungie has released a new Destiny teaser trailer for the endgame experience that gives a few additional looks at gameplay. Granted, the teaser trailer is mostly comprised of the same footage from the last Destiny raid trailer, but there are some new nuggets of info. That being said, players hoping to get clues regarding the core mechanics of the raid are unlikely to be satisfied....

While many players have likely had their fill of the King’s Fall raid, on both normal difficulty and heroic, there are those still trying to secure the top tier Destiny loot. Not to mention, with the new Challenge Modes, players have even greater incentives to dive back into the raid each week. And thanks to the February update, the experiences within that raid will be a little smoother. As Bungie details in this week’s post, the King’s Fall raid will receive two important tweaks to improve player experience....

A clip of this violent Pokemon game concept was shared by Reddit user Dragon_GameDev, also known as Dragon on YouTube. Dragon_GameDev plans on making a new game every month throughout 2022, with this violent Pokemon FPS being their first project. The video shared by Dragon_GameDev shows them exploring a tranquil field that wouldn’t look out of place in a normal Pokemon game, except they’re gunning down every creature they come across instead of trying to catch them in a Poke Ball....

After Blizzard’s tumultuous week and the loss of a major sponsor, the dev was able to get itself back in good graces with the major announcement of Diablo 4 and pulled no punches with plenty of new offerings for fans of the video game series. Not only did fans get a fascinating cinematic reveal trailer of Diablo 4, but Blizzard also released a brief video of gameplay footage and revealed three playable classes that will be coming to the game....

While Diablo Immortal retains the classic hack and slash loot style gameplay fans expect from the series, there are plenty of new elements added considering its initial design for mobile devices. Including a microtransaction and Battle Pass system, activities are designed to be shorter in scope to support play sessions typically associated with mobile gaming.
