The Crucible in Destiny 2 is far from the perfect PVP experience in video games, but Bungie has always been very open to feedback from the community. The prime example of this is how Stasis was nerfed a couple of months ago, which was a long-requested change by Crucible players who didn’t like how dominant it was. The balance of the Crucible is quite delicate, thus things like being frozen or slowed too often break it, but so do glitches like the one for Hawkmoon or lingering bugs....

Many Destiny 2 fans have let their voices be heard that they felt that the exploit, although unintentional by design, actually made the game’s new Menagerie activity more compelling and rewarding, so they’re not happy that Bungie removed it. However, it is not as though players did not have fair warning, as Bungie let Destiny 2 players know last week that the chest would be fixed in this patch....

While no date has been set as to when to expect Masterwork armor in Destiny 2, Bungie says the studio is working on how best to implement them. Don’t expect it to work exactly the same as Masterwork weapons, though, especially in the area of orb generation. According to Bungie, because of the ability to equip five pieces of Masterwork armor, if they each granted to the same level of orb generation as Masterwork weapons, it would be orbs galore....

Since Destiny 2 launched, players have seen a number of issues surrounding Leviathan Raid keys which saw the items disappearing randomly at times. The issue has become more widespread since the Leviathan Raid’s launch, causing Bungie to temporarily disable the code forcing the items to disappear each week to prevent further issues. It appears the problem is finally at an end however as Update 1.1.0 offers a permanent solution to this bug when it becomes available alongside Curse of Osiris on December 5....

Developer Bungie, has announced several upcoming in-game events planned for September and October for their latest first person shooter, Destiny which has just recently released this week. To keep fans hooked on to the game and to reward their endeavours, they are giving away valuable in-game items to the winners of the various events. So far they have given the dates and details of two of the events, while the rest will probably be revealed in the coming days....

Destiny fans will have these modifiers to deal with this week: Berserk - Minions of the Darkness won’t flinch, even after massive damage. Juggler - No ammo drops for your equipped weapon. Super Kill Bonus - Super kills are worth more points. The last Super Kill Bonus appeared on week 8, and the same general strategy applies here. The Super Kill Bonus brings a unique challenge. It is the slowest charging ability out of all the kill bonuses, which means every minion cannot be killed using a Super....

Some industrious Destiny fans have discovered another room that was added underneath the Dust Palace on Mars. Not only is it a new room that will almost certainly be a part of a new mission or quest coming in Rise of Iron, but inside players can find a Dead Ghost to collect and a new item called a Dormant SIVA Cluster. today, one of the last things they wanted to encounter was server issues. Unfortunately, though, it seems as if Bungie wasn’t fully prepared for the huge inundation of Guardians ready to rush into action upon the expansion’s launch, as many fans discovered the inability to simply access servers, while some of those that could were actually getting kicked from the game. While the heavy traffic for Destiny: Rise of Iron most likely was one of the main sources of the server problems, Bungie has now issued an official announcement declaring that the login issues which were affecting players have now been resolved across all platforms....

There’s good news and bad news regarding the Guardian Games. The good news is that Bungie is taking action to combat the Guardian Games cheese impacting the leaderboards. In a recently published message from the BungieHelp customer service account on Twitter, Bungie confirmed that the 10% par used for the emblem reward will ignore high scores achieved through cheesing team member revives. That should mean the legitimate top 10% of players for the Guardian Games will earn the emblem as intended....

Most importantly, it was confirmed that despite being an MMO of sorts, the game plays just like MechWarrior 2, 3 & 4, the way it should play. The game will be a return to detailed, highly customizable mechs and tactical team-based warfare and nothing like the shoddy MechAssault games on the original Xbox. Details on gameplay and how faction warfare have remained sketchy and all we know about the story is that it happens in a real-time persistant world where every day in real life is one day in 3049, beginning next summer....

Bates, 25, pleaded not guilty to charges of assault, resisting arrest, theft of services and obstruction of governmental administration. Bates has been hospitalized since his Jan. 26 arrest and was arraigned via a video hookup. Bates’ lawyer, Eric Breslin, said they were looking forward to “resolving this manner in an expeditious and satisfactory fashion.” Bates was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Jan. 26 at a hotel near LaGuardia Airport after allegedly refusing to pay a $32 cab fare for a ride from Manhattan....

The Tigers say Goodrum has a bruised right quad. Stewart, a rookie left fielder, came charging in and made the catch on the ball hit by Evan Gattis in the second. Goodrum was coming from the opposite direction and appeared to pull up at the last moment, perhaps preventing an even worse collision. But when Stewart went to the ground while catching the ball, Goodrum tripped over him. Goodrum was able to walk off the field but was replaced at the start of the third....

In Devil May Cry 5, one of the two demon-slaying brothers, Nero, will be able to choose between eight Devil Breaker weapons. At the Devil May Cry 5 PAX West panel, the developers showed off seven of the eight weapons in a new gameplay video. The seven Devil Breakers are called Gerbera, Helter Skelter, Overture, Punch Line, Ragtime, Rawhide, and Tomboy. For those unaware, The Devil Breaker is a tool that is attached to Nero’s arm that he can use to bring demons closer to him and then attack them at close range, among other things....

After reflecting on his past 25 years on Capcom in a recent interview, Itsuno admitted that prior to taking on the role of director on Devil May Cry 5, he lobbied executives to either allow him to work on a new DMC or create Dragon’s Dogma 2. Naturally, the feeling was that a return to the Devil May Cry franchise would be the better choice of the two for right now, but returning to Dragon’s Dogma is something Itsuno would love to take on at some point....
