The Destiny 2 Week 10 challenges will consist of five more tasks for players to complete. The first task will require players to defeat Elite and Boss Cabal in the Proving Grounds Strike, which is the new Strike that was added as part of Season of the Chosen. While Destiny 2 was generating tons of second looks on PC at launch, there was a recent patch that made things decidedly worse. Across the board, PC players were reporting stuttering and hitching with the game, to the point it almost looked like in-game lag. Players were still getting over 120 frames per second in the game, but there were moments where the game would lock up for a second and then return to normal....

Bungie announced today in its weekly blog that the Asksis Challenge Mode will go live in Destiny next week. The Vosik Challenge went live at 10 a.m. Pacific time on reset day. While Age of Triumph was announced today, it did not receive a full reveal. That will be reserved for a number of Twitch streams that Bungie will host for that purpose. The first stream and official reveal is set for Wednesday, March 8. The accompanying image for the stream, which Bungie put on its blog, which features the entrance to the Vault of Glass, seems to be hinting at the long-held fan theory that old raids will return to the game....
As fans continue to wait for Bungie to reveal the future, more traditional events such as the Iron Banner should be making a return soon. The uncertainty starts to creepy in when considering larger scale events and the fact that there now appears to be a ticking clock with this current game as a full scale sequel is being readied for release sometime later this year. While details have been fairly scarce regarding the next game in the franchise, Activision has previously gone on record not just to confirm that the new game is coming in 2017, but the publisher has also hinted at a number of interesting and potential gameplay tweaks....
Events are in-game activities that come and go for a limited time, such as Festival of the Lost, which was added in October to celebrate Halloween, or the Sparrow Racing League, which just started today. Bungie also classifies the monthly Iron Banner and weekly Trials of Osiris under this event category. Destiny fans complained that they were running out of Vault space back when the Rise of Iron expansion launched, which did not expand players’ Vaults either. Bungie has stayed mum on the topic, but fans had been asking and hoping that increased Vault space may be on the docket coming in Destiny’s last live event, Age of Triumph. With the year closing out, Destiny 2 players will be able to enjoy the seasonal Dawning event this December. Destiny has seasonal events to close out particular parts of the year, and the Dawning will close out 2020. As expected, the Tower will be decked out with Christmas-themed decorations and see the return of Eva Levante. The Dawning event will be hosted by Eva again, and players will learn new recipes from her, find some of her gifts, and even get a new tricked-out ship, too....
