[HTML1] For far too long, Star Wars: Battlefront III made headlines about being in and out of development at various studios but ultimately every version of is was canceled. Throughout the depressing process we repeatedly made note of how if anyone should take the franchise reins it should be DICE, especially after showcasing the Frostbite 2-powered Battlefield 3. Just throw in lasers and lightsabers, right? Through the power of the Force it came to be....

The winning numbers for November 17, 2021, were 3, 16, 48, 52 and 60, while the Powerball was 1 and the Power Play was 3x. No one bagged the jackpot, but one lucky ticket holder matched all five white balls to win the second prize, valued at $1 million. The winner purchased the Power Play option for $1, which raised their second prize earnings to $2 million, according to the Powerball website....

One of the more-intriguing sideshows to the main event would be the former Gunners on display – Clichy and Nasri, of course, but perhaps also Sagna. Only two would feature, but there was enough spectacle to keep us all satisfied. According to the International Business Times, Jones paying for Christie’s ticket and travel expenses could be deemed as a gift. Christie, who has been New Jersey’s governor since 2010, is considered a 2016 presidential candidate, but can’t seem to escape controversy. Whether it was the bridge scandal of 2013 or his recent trips to see the Cowboys, the Republican has been a controversial figure, and even more so because of his respect for President Barack Obama....

The Temporal Surge begins at 9 a.m. PST on November 6 and runs until 9 a.m. PST on November 13, and players will be able to purchase several different returning emotes for Silver, Destiny 2’s microtransaction currency. The amount of silver will vary depending on the rarity of the emote. Rare blue quality emotes will cost 200 silver, Legendary emotes will cost 500 silver, and Exotic emotes will cost 1,000 silver....

Anyone who has earned The Mountaintop in Destiny 2 will know that the experience of earning the Crucible pinnacle weapon from Season 5 is perhaps one of the longest and most frustrating quest experiences in the game. But according to developer Bungie, in the upcoming Update 2....

Bungie spoke about the weapon refresh in its latest This Week at Bungie post. Community manager Cozmo said the next planned Destiny 2 update will be dropping on July 6, and with it Moon and Dreaming City location weapons will be brought back into the loot pool. The weapons will also be getting a perk refresh when they are made available, bringing them up-to speed with the current loot pool....

This is a time to draw expectations for the players and the developers alike, and Bungie’s recent TWAB was about voting for Destiny 2’s next Festival of the Lost armor sets. Much like the developer did last year, with two different sets themed around Monsters and Dinosaurs, this year’s pre-Festival of the Lost poll is needed to make one of the two new sets emerge the victor. This year’s sets are inspired by Monsters, like last year but with a twist, while Mechs are the other choice....

The new level cap for Destiny 2 in Season of Arrivals has shifted to a 1000 soft cap allowing players to level using just Blues or Rare gear, a 1050 Power level cap that players need Powerful Rewards to progress to, and finally a 1060 hard cap that can only be reached with Pinnacle sources. RELATED: Destiny 2: How to Get Twisted Energy and What It Does This new bug/farming method combo has allowed players to jump quickly to the 1050 Power level cap, leaving only Pinnacle rewards for the rest of the climb this season; although, one of those Pinnacle reward sources, Trials of Osiris, has been disabled this weekend due to a major bug that is not allowing Flawless teams access to the Lighthouse to collect their loot....

Blackburn posted a series of tweets stating that it was about time that Bungie talked about the state of PVP in Destiny 2, and that is very true, considering the last concrete update on matters concerning the Crucible was when Stasis was nerfed. In the tweets, Blackburn tried to lay the foundations of what’s to come to Destiny 2 when The Witch Queen expansion launches early next year, alongside Season 16, also implying that Season 15 will indeed be the last before all that....

The glitch is unique to the Scourge of the Past raid and requires either a Warlock or a Titan to replicate. It also can only be activated during the first encounter of the Scourge of the Past raid, but players can continue using the third person view throughout the activity as long as they don’t respawn, change their subclass, or activate their super. To do the third person glitch, Destiny 2 players will want to find a Berserker in the first part of the Scourge of the Past raid....

The reaction to the news has been a solid split between complete indifference and utter outrage, with many gamers having expected Bungie to improve upon the original title’s 30 frames per second limitation. Those with higher-end consoles won’t be able to break the barrier either, as Bungie confirmed that running the PS4 Pro in frame rate mode won’t help surpass the in-game lock. It’s currently unclear whether the PS4 Pro or the Xbox Scorpio will be able to support 4K resolution for the title....

Another reason why mods are so important is that Destiny 2 has a seasonal model that comes with new storylines and content on a regular basis. With every new Season comes a selection of rotating mods, including Champion mods and ones that provide other beneficial effects or debuffs on enemies, like Breach and Clear or Particle Deconstruction. However, each mod in Destiny 2 costs a specific amount of armor energy, which each piece of armor has depending on how upgraded it is....

The Agonarch Karve was a possible reward for defeating Oryx in the Taken King raid. The ship has a very distinct and iconic design – bone and muscle, and several prongs jutting out from the ship. When inspecting the Enigmatic Blueprint that drops from the Oracle puzzle chest, a faint ship outline is present. That outline follows the same shape as the Agonarch Karve. The flavor text for the blueprint reads: schematic for an otherworldly ship hull of ancient design and ominous purpose....

The new Stasis subclass powers have been widely covered in the run up to Destiny 2: Beyond Light’s launch, and so players knew that there was a lot of potential in these new Darkness powers. However, what wasn’t expected is how game-breaking they would also be. In terms of PvE, Stasis seems to be a nice addition to the game. The subclasses don’t seem to be too over powered and they offer some new wrinkles to enemy engagements....

With the Season of the Hunt wrapping up in a week, Bungie has been preparing fans for the arrival of Season 13, sharing a number of updates through its weekly blog posts. Weapon balancing aims to reduce the effectiveness of swords, Umbral engrams are making a comeback, while a more flexible challenge system replaces the long standing tradition of weekly bounties. For all of the gameplay changes, Bungie has yet to disclose any aspects of the story, only hinting at the presence of the Cabal....

The Vex Mythoclast isn’t the first exotic raid weapon to get a catalyst in Destiny 2, but because it has so much more prominence than the Legend of Acrius, it can be hard to ignore how much its catalyst brings to the table. It provides an extra perk and builds on a weapon that was already excellent. While adding new catalysts for raid weapons might seem like a move that could make them overpowered and problematic in Destiny 2’s sandbox, the Vex Mythoclast might prove the opposite....

As seen below in the latest trailer for Destiny 2, Bungie offers a look at Commander Zavala’s rise from Guardian to Vanguard as he battles countless enemies, meets many deaths, and is respawned again and again only to press on to see peace flourish alongside the construction of the original Tower. Of course, with players now well aware of the Tower’s decimation, Zavala alludes to it simply being a test of Guardians’ strength, fortitude, and mettle....
