Their post caught the eye of Cozmo23, one of the community managers on the game, who confirmed that the artifact and its bonus power levels will be active for players who participate. Memory of Felwinter takes away a player’s super, but grants them two melee charges and two grenades. However, if a Sunsinger Warlock has a charged Super and while dead switches to Memory of Felwinter, that Sunsinger can still activate Fireborn and self-resurrect now with two grenades and two melee charges....
However, up until now players had assumed that Destiny wouldn’t be adding private matches until Rise of Iron’s release date, but it turns out those assumptions were wrong. Private Matches are available right now! Without burying the lede, Bungie may have accidentally revealed that Private Matches were releasing yesterday, but today is actually the day. There is no need to download anything special; just hop onto Destiny and Private Matches should be turned on....
Evidently Bungie is placing a high priority in preserving the reputation of Destiny’s PvP system, which some players already believe has been largely ignored in The Taken King in favor of PvE content. The announcement came as part of the most recent Destiny weekly update, which also included some good news: Bungie will be releasing the King’s Fall hard mode a full week earlier than they had originally planned, with enterprising Guardians now eyeing a chance at a World First completion on October 23rd at 10am PST....
Both these activities will be included in Destiny’s new “weekly rituals” as developer Bungie calls them, which are the nodes found on the bottom left of the Director. While Daylight Strikes will officially remain a mystery until Bungie’s Twitch stream on Wednesday, there have been enough teases to assume what they will be. Many times in the last week, Bungie has said that Age of Triumph will bring more “mayhem” to strikes, causing many to hypothesize that there will be a new strike playlist or modifier that brings aspects of Destiny’s Mayhem PvP mode to PvE....
