This issue first appeared when Destiny 2 players realized that, after Bungie raised the recommended power level to 330 for the Prestige Nightfall and Prestige Raid, players without the DLC would be unable to complete them. It is worth noting that this year in Destiny 2 will function a bit differently. Even though the Hammer of Proving and all related content is part of Season of the Chosen, they will not depart the game until the end of the year cycle, presumably in fall 2021. So, players will have a more time to experience the new content before The Witch Queen overhauls the game.
