Thankfully, YouTuber xHOUNDISHx has shared a guide on the most efficient way to upgrade the armor sets, which causes the Solstice Armor to glow white. This year, players will have to upgrade from the rare Renewed set to the Majestic set (which has no glow), to then the fully upgraded Magnificent set, while following a variety of objectives. Each class has different objectives than the other, so don’t expect to do the same grind three times on all characters, but Houndish has explained how to achieve these in the fastest route....

As spotted by one eagle-eyed Reddit user today, Sony has seemingly censored an Xbox One controller seen in the trailer for Forsaken. Currently, the trailer released during the recent Bungie livesteam, which showed off all the new content coming to Destiny 2, is available on the official YouTube channels for PlayStation, Xbox, and Bungie, though the video uploaded to the PlayStation channel is ever so slightly different. During a scene showing a Bungie team member working on the expansion, the developer is shown holding an Xbox One controller, presumably because the controller is more compatible with a PC, except in the video uploaded to the PlayStation channel the controller has been blurred out....

In addition to content, today also brings the first in a series of updates that intend to fix many of the nagging issues holding the game back. Many of these pain points are shortcomings that have been spotlighted by the vocal community and include improvements to vendor inventory, introducing Masterwork tier for weapons, exotic duplication protection, and additional ways to spend in-game currency like Legendary shards. Even with all this new content arriving in Destiny 2, today is also a weekly reset day....

Season 3 kicks off at the next weekly reset, bringing with it plenty of new features and fixes as well as the second Destiny 2 expansion known as Warmind. This content takes players to a new location on Mars known as Hellas Basin, where the warmind Rasputin has reawoken due to the melting of the polar ice caps. A side effect of this has been the emergence of a new type of Hive that appears to have been infused with ice, creating a terrifying new enemy for players to battle....

The idea is that when Destiny 2 players receive an exotic, it should be new and exciting; getting the sixth set of Lucky Pants is not a thrilling or exotic moment. These changes would go a long way to help players who are trying to collect every exotic in the game, but are held back by a few missing pieces of gear. This is not the only change that Bungie is making to the exotic economy, however....

That is actually the exact same number of strikes that Destiny 1 shipped with back in 2014. The first game also had five strikes and one PlayStation exclusive. From the creators of multi-billion dollar conception Halo, Bungie developers are set to uncover their upcoming mythic science fiction called Destiny. The multiplayer first person shooter will be massive in terms of online features and will be roleplaying in nature. It will be published by Activision as a part of their 10 year deal and will release on 9th September, 2014. The setting is in a post-apocalyptic ‘Golden Age’ seven hundred years into the future....

Bungie elected to test out the extremely difficult Vault of Glass raid by flying in members of the Gunslingers Clan, and Hopson himself acknowledged that the traveling clan members were very good sports about playing through not only an extremely difficult scenario, but one that was still broken in many spots as well. The group of gamers didn’t manage to beat the Vault of Glass’ final boss, Atheon, but they did manage to whittle him down to about 30% health - a very impressive feat when one considers that there were no real “veterans” of Destiny yet....

This increase in shotgun use has created an idea within the Destiny community - if Primary weapons were buffed across the board, rushing shotgunners would be deterred from pushing in on players as often. It appears Bungie has heard the cries of its fanbase, as community manager Cozmo has posted on the Bungie.net forums asking for feedback on the issue. In a response to a poster on the Bungie.net forums proposing that all Primary weapon classes get their damage buffed to allow for faster kill times, Cozmo had this to say:...

Granted, some are fairly easy to obtain, especially from the exotic weapon and armor vendor Xur, but others require a fair bit of luck and a lot of perseverance. Amazingly, Twitch streamer Gigz and his teammate Lethal Vendetta were able to take a boss fight that can be completely overwhelming for a full fireteam of six and come out on top with just two. Over on Reddit, word has started to spread that the new Age of Triumph ornaments in Destiny can no longer be placed in a stack past ten in total. Attempting to do so essentially removes any excess items, making them disappear for good. While previous item behavior lets them appear back in the player inventory in a new stack or sent to the postmaster until the player reclaims it, any ornaments above the ten limit thresh hold are simply removed entirely....

Identified as Detective Joseph Seals during a press conference, the married father of five was “our leading police officer in removing guns from the street”, said Police Chief Michael Kelly, who spoke at the press conference Tuesday.
