The lore behind Vex Offensive: Final Assault revolves around the Undying Mind, a Strike boss from Destiny 1. According to Ghost, tons of Undying Mind copies are hidden within the Black Garden’s code and it is up to Guardians to defeat them all....

Bungie pulled back the curtain on Destiny 2’s next major expansion as part of a reveal stream, diving into the story, new Darkness powers, and new allies joining Guardians in the fight against The Witness. The new allies, dubbed Cloudstriders, are residents of the colorful city of Neomuna, Neptune’s capital city which has remained hidden from the ongoing conflicts across the Solar System. Bungie describes it as a city that lived through the Collapse which has now been exposed to the forces of The Witness and will now be ground zero for an invasion led by The Witness’ newest disciple, Calus....

For those that have not been following the Destiny 2: Forsaken news, Bungie is planning to take almost all of the restrictions off weapon slots. So if players want to equip three shotguns they will be able to do so, but ammo will be limited since that is still tied to a weapon’s class. Meaning those three shotguns will all be fighting for power weapon ammo. It’s a pretty big change for Destiny 2 and as a result, it seems Bungie wants to acquaint players with it a little early....

On August 16, Destiny 2 servers will undergo a complete reset on activities for the entire week. Players will gain bonuses in the playlist ranks, including Vanguard Strikes, Crucible, and Gambit. Since it will be the last week of the season, players will get one last chance to gather whatever weapons they’re missing and stock up on bounties for an EXP boost. Listed below is all the significant upcoming content in the last week of Season 17, alongside a few things players can do to prepare....

The Crucible is the recipient of many of these changes as Iron Banner moves back to classic 6v6 combat, Rumble and Mayhem make their return to the new weekly playlist, power ammo arrives more frequently, and snipers may be relevant again thanks to a short gameplay clip. Not only that, a few subclasses are getting buffed like the Arcstrider, and every weapon type has also been reworked in some way....

The big milestone this week for Destiny 2 fans is the launch of the still under wraps Leviathan Raid. With Bungie remaining tight lipped on the experience, potential raid details managed to leak out anyway, taking place in a location that’s both a ship and a creature. Concept art of a giant fish like creature eating a planet appears to be the location in question. Until that time, however, the weekly reset cycle has finally begun once again....

While the colorful Chroma armor definitely looks quite fantastic, a lot of Guardians have had their eyes focused more so on Destiny’s Taken-skinned gear — officially known as Desolate — ever since it was revealed a while back. Bungie says that Destiny’s Spring Update will now be referred to as the April Update and be labeled Patch 2.2.0. As promised, it will bring with it “new PvE challenges, new and updated gear, increased max Light and rewards” and more. The update will be free for anyone who own The Taken King expansion. To help reveal the update, as Bungie has done in the past, the developer will be hosting streams on Twitch to show off what’s coming....

They were the first to two-man various phases of the Vault of Glass and eventually solo Crota’s End in a number of ways. Now, The Legend Himself has outdone itself. Less than 24 hours since the launch of the Wrath of the Machine raid, The Legend Himself has successfully three-manned the entire endgame activity....

Based on early numbers from the seasonal event, players were very engaged with the new activities like sparrow racing and strike scoring that were added through the past three weeks. Bungie will be looking to capitalize on that community engagement well into 2017 through upcoming events such as the Valentine’s Day inspired Crimson Days to help set the tone for the eventual next entry in the series. Though nothing is currently known about Destiny 2, Activision has previously confirmed the expected sequel is planned for launch sometime later in the year....

The tweet draws attention to a very interesting post on the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure’s website, which claims it’s investing in a new title from Destroy All Humans developer Black Forest Games. This unreleased project is dubbed Project Cattleprod 2, and although it doesn’t bear the same name as Crypto’s second adventure, there are more than a few hints that the two titles could be one and the same....

Writer and director David Cage says the game will be “spectacularly more bending” thanks to the increased number of story branches. With a 2000-page script and three main characters that have their own stories intertwined with the actions taken by one another, it’s clear that the game will have a lot going on.
