For those unfamiliar with Destiny 2’s Season Pass system, with each new season comes a season pass. There are free rewards, but many will purchase it to max it out and receive the best awards. The incentive to do so is strong, as these items are well worth the grind. But there are 100 levels on the season pass, and the season lasts for 100 days. That means that for a player to max out their pass they would need to get at least one level (100,000 experience) per day, a pretty huge undertaking....

The Vex race are organic-cybernetic beings that are more ancient than the Hive and are among the strongest enemies in Destiny 2, with ties to the flower game between the Gardener and the Winnower. With a cold, calculating nature, the Vex have served as enemies to Guardians but are hostile toward every group in the Destiny universe. Their technology is the most advanced in the game, known for converting planets into machines, and they are capable of space-time engineering and time travel....

Destiny 2’s Void 3.0 update seemed like a perfect moment to reshape the state of the game by providing subclasses with enhanced tools, while also delving more into their inherent themes. This is partly what the breakdown of the Void 3.0 changes highlighted, but it also seems that the update is reaffirming the power and utility of each class and subclass rather than rebalancing them. Expansion 2, which remains untitled, is the second major piece of DLC that comes in the game’s Expansion Pass after Curse of Osiris. A spring release coincides with the release schedule developer Bungie often employed with Destiny 1, with both Year 1’s House of Wolves expansion and two major April updates following in Years 2 and 3. If Bungie follows suit with Destiny 2, players can expect the second expansion to show up around April or May 2018....

In order for a run to be considered flawless in Destiny 2, players have to complete the raid without a single member of their team dying. Completing this under normal circumstances would be a challenge, but doing it while driving a Sparrow meant Leopard had to make some fairly large adjustments to his play. The idea for the run was concocted during Leopard’s charity block on June 14th, where money earned during the block went to GCX, benefitting St Jude Children’s Research Hospital....

While the developers at Bungie briefly mentioned changes to the Weekly Crucible playlists in the company’s latest Age of Triumph reveal stream, this news was shared by another confirmed Bungie employee on the Destiny subreddit. The Bungie dev goes by Level_1_Warrior on Reddit, and detailed the additional changes coming to Destiny’s PvP offerings: But what about those players who do not own the latest Rise of Iron expansion? According to this information, those players will only be able to play the Weekly Featured Crucible Playlist....

DICE has shared two of the exciting prototypes, which is a hover tank and a rail-gun that fires a single shot of kinetic energy. DICE will be testing the pre-release versions of the Final Stand maps on the company’s Community Test Environment (CTE) from today....

Louisville Metro Police Department Detective Christopher Palombi has been accused of creating a “kill list” that included the names of his co-workers. While he has been served with a pretermination notice, his lawyer claims that his alleged behavior stems from PTSD he developed while serving overseas. “He has a severe case of PTSD, which he sustained in combat in Afghanistan in 2014 and also from his duties with LMPD during the riots,” attorney Thomas Clay told the Louisville Courier-Journal....
