Hawkmoon is the latest gun to be reprised in Destiny 2, a classic from the first game. Its acquisition was special as players did two unique story missions in some never-before-seen areas of the EDZ. One of the main allures of this questline was the Crow, previously known as Uldren Sov, who kept the Guardian company. As players collect the raid keys, they have the entire week to go back and search through the labyrinth and find the corresponding chests, but only that week. That’s because all raid keys will reset with Destiny 2’s weekly reset every Tuesday. Although it has been part of a help article located on developer Bungie’s website, Bungie tweeted out the information, letting players know that if they are holding onto raid keys, they will vanish from their inventories as of Tuesday at 2 a....

Season 6, Season of the Drifter, is right around the corner, and Bungie is preparing Destiny players with its most recent online report. In it, players will find details on Gambit Prime, a preview of new pinnacle weapons, and a brief explanation of what will be replacing the Prismatic Matrix. According to the report, Bungie decided to remove the system after realizing it wasn’t up to par, stating: “we can do even better....

The event makes up the current major endgame goal of the entire Destiny 2 community, with 7 total stages, each completed by the playerbase contributing a certain amount of Polarized Fractaline to the Tower Obelisk in exchange for progress on Timelost Weapon Bounties. The overall amount of Fractaline needed to progress increases with each stage, starting at 400,000,000 for the first stage and increasing by larger amounts each time a new level is reached....

This latest strategy comes from Destiny 2 content creator Vendetta, who often attempts incredible challenges such as running Raids with limited parties or with alternate class coverage than the general strategies call for. It should also be noted that, while the single melee attack is able to pull a One Punch Man-type feat, it does technically require two hits in order to pull off the required damage to execute the one-shot....

Even before The Witch Queen changes, Destiny 2’s Hunters were the class that needed buffs the most because of how hard it’s been hit by PvE nerfs as other classes get buffs to outshine Hunters across the board. Destiny 2’s Cuirass of the Falling Star is a big issue with Hunters in PvE because of the immense damage buff it provides to Titans, outclassing Celestial Nighthawk and every other damage Super....

Vow of the Disciple is going to stay for a long time, but Destiny 2 players who have already successfully completed it multiple times may be looking for their final pieces of gear and craftable weapons. A popular request to Bungie from the community over the past year has been to do something about the older Raids and Dungeons to make them more worthwhile in terms of rewards, and the company did announce something would be coming later on....

During the company’s latest quarterly financial briefing, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg said that the Destiny 2 publisher is “committed to deliver meaningful features that are bespoke for the PC community.” Unfortunately, Hirshberg declined to offer exact details about what special features that the Bungie-developed shooter might hold for PC players, instead encouraging people to turn into the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal that’s taking place in a few weeks. The executive did, however, say that he is “really excited about what we have to show for them....

Earlier this week, a Destiny 2 player took to the game’s official subreddit with indication that after completing 24 weekly bounties and around 445 daily bounties they had finally obtained the Rare Black Armory Bounty required to progress their quest for Izanagi’s Burden. The player further reported that this took them a staggering 89 days, and the post prompted a response from Bungie’s Community Manager, Cozmo23, who stated that the developer is working on a “change to make getting the rare bounties less of a pain....

According to Bungie, Destiny 2 players have grown to rely too heavily on sniper rifles for their long distance utility. Players spent too much time sitting back and picking off enemies from afar and could do so with ease thanks to the damage output of sniper rifles in Season of Dawn. RELATED: Destiny 2’s Best PvE Loadout for Damage To curb that use, Bungie will be nerfing Destiny 2 sniper rifles back to their pre-Shadowkeep numbers, which amounts to a 20% damage nerf....

As previously rumored, Forsaken takes players back to The Reef, only this time, high-powered enemies have managed to break out of the Prison of Elders. Alongside Cayde-6, players will attempt to put down the prison break by taking on eight Barons, each with their own gameplay unique boss battles. Not only that, the expansion has plenty of new loot, adventures, and changes in an effort to turn Destiny 2 into the game everyone was hoping for last year....

The second endgame activity for Destiny 2 arrived this past Friday as the new and improved competitive mode Trials of the Nine made its debut. Taking the place of the old Trials of Osiris, this new PvP mode introduced a few new tricks up its sleeve by making the combat 4v4, a mode that rotates on a weekly basis including Countdown and Survival, and a locked loadout at the start of a match....

This week is a bit harder, now that the Small Arms and Precision Kill score bonus has been swapped out for new modifiers, however, if players approach each round strategically and with the right builds, they can complete an Elders’ Sigil scorecard in two runs. The unique modifiers this week are: Berserk - Minions of the Darkness won’t flinch, even after massive damage. Catapult - Grenade recharge rate is greatly increased....

Now that the Destiny reset has come and gone, we know of at least one new addition to the Prison of Elders rotation: The Forever Eater. Like other Prison of Elders arenas, The Forever Eater is comprised of five rounds of combat, culminating in a final showdown with a Destiny boss. In this case, that Destiny boss is Qodron, a giant Vex Minotaur not unlike Atheon. While the Qodron fight might not seem that difficult, it can be challenging if players don’t know what to do....

Kicking off the questline To start the quest that will award these items, player need to hit Rank 7 in The Dawning Record Book, which will reward an item called Xur’s Tag. That item will allow players to open Xur’s Gift on the upper terrace of the Tower. When opened, the gift will award the Tattered Schematic item and add a quest to players’ inventory. The first step is to talk to Ikoa Rey....

It seems that the way the game processes the winner of any given race is simply to record and compare track times for each competitor. Since this information is stored, it’s relatively easy for the stats to be extracted so the times can be fed into an online leaderboard. For most players, the end goal of Trials of Osiris is going flawless – getting 9 wins in a row (with or without boons) and opening a special treasure chest located on Mercury’s Lighthouse. In that chest players can earn one of four primary weapons, each carrying a random elemental modifier (solar, arc, or void). So far that cycle has been a regular Destiny event for players – go 9-0, get to the Lighthouse, earn a new weapon – but the Year 1 attack power of the guns has many wondering whether Trials of Osiris will continue in Year 2, when the attack power is raised but only for new weapons....

Even without any solid leads to go on with regards to new content, Bungie has set the stage for another major hot fix and balance update. The long awaited shotgun rebalance, also known as HotFix 2.5.0.2, is scheduled to hit consoles on Valentine’s Day, February 14. The balance update looks to be fairly substantial, so to get the fan base up to speed on the numerous changes that are about to be introduced, Bungie is holding a livestream event tomorrow to showcase just how how the weapon and subclass landscape will change....

Detroit: Become Human is one of the best-looking games available today, on any platform. The level of detail and animation seen in the title menu’s android host can be found throughout the entire game, combined with top-tier voice work that gives a real sense of presence to the many characters players encounter over the course of the story. The production value in Detroit: Become Human is second to none, and it’s almost worth checking out the game for that alone....
