While exploring the Endless Gate area on Io, a few Destiny 2 players discovered that there is a new area that can be accessed by glitching out of bounds. This area features familiar Vex architecture, some Taken-infestations, and even enemy models posed around. As expected, the discovery of this secret area has Destiny 2 players speculating. Some think that the mission area is part of one of the new exotic weapon quests coming in Season 7 – either this coming week’s Truth quest or the quest for Lumina/Rose....

One group that has changed significantly over time is Destiny 2’s collection of swords. Taking different roles in combat over the game’s lifetime, there have been several changes to them. This has left players scrambling to figure out how to use blades in new roles more than once. The top image has since been changed, but for a time the story prominently featured the screenshot from Destiny. Who knows how the parties responsible at Yahoo missed it, as the screenshot is pretty blatantly not a realistic shot of our solar system’s sixth planet....

As part of the studio changes at Bungie, several executive positions are being shifted or created. This included a division of sorts. Mark Noseworthy and Luke Smith, for example, now specifically oversee Bungie’s Destiny universe plans, separate from Destiny 2. Justin Truman, in turn, will focus on continued support for Destiny 2 itself. A new division is also being created, however. Where Noseworthy, Smith, and Truman will lead Bungie’s Destiny plans, this new team will focus on other pursuits....
