Now it’s the turn of former prime minister Tony Blair. According to various European officials, he spent the final days of his decade at 10 Downing Street lobbying for the role he assumed in Lisbon this morning as a special envoy for the Middle East. No longer representing a government, his mandate comes from what’s known as the Quartet, a group pulled together informally after September 11, 2001, looking for ways forward in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict....

The first five numbers for the Powerball draw on Wednesday were 01-17-52-58-64, with a Powerball number of 01 and a mega Power Play of 10x. It was the same story on Wednesday, with no jackpot winner. That means the rollover prize will now be $620 million (with a cash option of $446 million). The actor started off the series of tweets with “Get ready for some Hot Sauce,” warning fans of what was to come. Destiny 2’s current season is coming to a close now, with the impending Season 19 arriving on December 6th in just a few weeks. The as yet unnamed Season 19 will be the final season of the year, and will go on until the release of Destiny 2’s next major expansion, Lightfall, in February 2022. The active season, Season of Plunder, has once again put Guardians to work alongside the Drifter as well as some Eliksni friends to hunt down Eramis, the once-Kell of the Fallen House Salvation who recently thawed out of her Stasis prison on Europa....

Players have been waiting years for Destiny 2 to bring a universal transmog system into the game. Universal Ornaments stood as a stepping stone for the upcoming transmog system, namedArmor Synthesis, giving players a taste of transmog but with some limitations. With a fully-featured Armor Synthesis transmog system coming to Destiny 2 with a cap, many Guardians may wonder how long will it take to convert all the armor sets currently in Destiny 2, into Ornaments used for transmog....

This problem is not exclusive to the world loot pool in Destiny 2, nor is it something that happens mainly with other sources of loot, like Umbral Engrams, Trials Engrams, and Pinnacle Gear. Rather, this issue is often widespread, and it can affect the players’ ability to get exclusive Exotic weapons from Raids as well. Raids are meant to be Destiny 2’s peak alongside Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes for PvE and Trials of Osiris for PvP, and yet, the loot can be quite elusive....

The Witch Queen has its release date set for February 22, 2022. This gives players just under six months to experience everything that has been building up to the highly anticipated expansion. With so much of the game’s current narrative dedicated to the Hive Goddess Savathun and her expertly crafted lies, players are bound to find themselves at the center of a complicated tale. But the story for Witch Queen isn’t the only thing Destiny 2 players have to look forward to in the future....

With today’s weekly reset, players received a new quest notification on the Director screen for the Cayde’s Spicy Ramen quest, guiding them to the Ramen shop in the Tower. Once players check in there, they receive an in-game item that goes into the Inventory screen—the Expired Ramen Coupon. There’s nothing to do with the item except to read its Lore tab. But Destiny 2 players were insistent that there must be something more to the quest....

Both of these mods have shaped the present meta for Destiny 2’s endgame content in different ways, and in general they made the Season a fun one to delve into. Breach and Clear is a class item mod that reloads the players’ stowed weapons, and applies a detrimental effect on bosses and Champions when hitting them with a grenade launcher - increasing damage inflicted against them by a whopping 30 percent....

Unfortunately, a glitch with Trials of the Nine will keep those players from obtaining that loot. It’s unclear how long the issue has been present, but it has come to light that there is a way to earn a loss without actually playing a match in Destiny 2. Apparently, if either team quits out of the Trials of the Nine match during the team introduction screen both teams will be given a loss on their card....

This nerf won’t touch the weapon itself but its ammo economy. Starting with Destiny 2 Update 2.0.5 on October 30th (barring any issues between now and then), when players pick up a purple Power ammo brick, Sleeper Simulant will get two rounds. That’s down from the current four rounds gained with each Power ammo pickup. Although this one has a date, this isn’t the only planned nerf for Sleeper Simulant....

The new mod system was shown off during Bungie’s sandbox showcase livestream, where Destiny 2 Gameplay Design Lead Josh Hamrick confirmed that when Forsaken launches, whatever element that is currently equipped on year one gear will be the permanent element for that weapon. This means that if players want a year one weapon in every element, they will need to go earn three copies of the weapon, each with a different elemental mod installed, before Forsaken launches....

According to Gadgets 360, “several sources in the supply chain” revealed as much, but didn’t speak on the matter any further than to state the fact that Destiny 2 will be playable through Steam. This should undoubtedly please PC gamers, as there are already a bevy of different clients out there, such as Steam, GOG, Origin, Uplay, and even Blizzard’s own launcher, so should Activision have implemented its own client, it would have been a superfluous effort....

According to the leaked image, the Shadowkeep expansion for Destiny 2 will have Guardians revisiting the lunar surface. “Become a slayer of nightmares,” the teaser prompts, warning that “terrifying shadows” will be descending upon a forgotten moon. Assumedly, this means that the shadows forgot about the Moon and not Guardians, given players were fighting the Hive there not so long ago. The Shadowkeep itself is only described as a “mysterious enemy citadel....

For those new to Destiny, the popular Game of Thrones actor was actually the original voice for the iconic Ghost companion that follows Destiny’s Guardians around the game. However, due to much backlash from gamers about Dinklage’s less-than enthusiastic voice over work, Bungie decided to replace Dinklage’s voice with another well-known video game voice actor, Nolan North. The Easter Egg, which can be seen in the Xbox DVR capture below, gives features Dinklage’s most “iconic” line, “That wizard came from the Moon....

Bungie traveled back to The Reef, the new public space that debuted in the House of Wolves expansion, but which hasn’t served much of a purpose since the Tower and its vendors got an overhaul in The Taken King. Coming in the April Update are new Bounties, Questlines, one new mission, one new Strike, and the Prison of Elders has been brought to endgame levels with a new challenge mode....

That is very much the thought behind a yearly event at Bungie called Carnival, a time for the studio’s developers to stretch their creativity to create pretty much whatever they want over the course of a few days. During last year’s Carnival in January 2018, a group of nine developers created a working prototype using the Destiny engine for a fighting game they dubbed “Destiny of Fighters: Super Turbo.” The video of this fighting game prototype was shared by former longtime Bungie employee David Candland....

In most cases, Destiny 2 Exotics are all about form over function. After all, a piece of gear is supposed to power up a character more than it exists to be a fashion accessory. However, the graphic designers for Destiny 2 seldom skimp on how Exotics look, with several weapons bearing intricate designs and add-ons to give them a distinct look and feel. The same is true for armor pieces, including the Doom Fang Pauldron....
