The goal for many Guardians participating in the Trials of Osiris, is to win seven matches in a row without losing, to achieve a Flawless Trials Card. The answer, according to Bungie game director Chris Barrett, is that everything listed on the roadmap will be available to all players regardless of whether or not they buy Forsaken. In addition to new activities, which will include the Blighted Chalice quest line, Bungie will raise Destiny’s light level cap from 320 to 335. Players will be able to hit the new level cap by completing the Challenge of the Elders and earning both new armor and new weapons. It’s worth mentioning, though, that like any of Destiny’s major endgame content, there is a weekly lockout on top tier drops....
However, it seems as if Team Redeem — the heavy favorite to take the crown of World’s First for defeating Destiny: Rise of Iron’s Wrath of the Machine raid on its Heroic Mode — was thwarted during their potential record-grabbing run due to an in-game issue. As it happens, a Bungie anti-cheat system put in place for the mode’s Siege Engine boss fight actually ruined the chances of Team Redeem snagging the title....

With the way that Bungie retooled special ammo in the PvP update for Destiny, it came as no surprise to the developer that sidearms rose to the top of the special weapon class food chain. Being able to not only start a life with special ammo, but also build a stock of special ammo with every death, made sidearms extremely viable in PvP, to the point it was all anyone saw....
