One of the recent critiques coming to Destiny 2 over the last week is that the loot pools, especially those related to world drops, are too limited. After sunsetting such a large portion of the weapon options, the viable choices have dwindled down dramatically. But in the latest “This Week at Bungie” post, Bungie has acknowledged this issue and would like players to know that a fix is in the works....
The developer confirmed the detail while promoting an upcoming livestream focused on Destiny 2: Forsaken’s combat. During the stream players will get to see how the new weapon slot changes will affect the game, but ahead of that Bungie Senior Sandbox Designer Jon Weisnewski wanted to highlight something that players had already started noticing and speculating about. Lowering the time to kill will hopefully give Destiny 2 a little more of its speed back....
Season Passes in Destiny 2 are not like most Battle Passes and similar things from other games, as they don’t exclusively come with unlockable items, but they also grant access to the corresponding Season. That didn’t change, but the various rewards offered with Season Passes did. For example, starting with Season of the Lost, players were not awarded a full set of seasonal armor with Season Pass ranks, but rather they had to get it by playing seasonal activities....
Since the enthusiasm surrounding Destiny 2 has not been as strong, Datto has not run as many challenges, but there have been a few. However, he chose to save one of his more interesting Leviathan raid challenges for a special occasion. In the below video, Datto and his fireteam complete the entire Leviathan raid using mostly Wardcliff Coil. There is the rare spot where the team needed to use a different weapon, but for the most part this is a Wardcliff Coil raid run....
What’s interesting about Destiny 2 is that it features several different endgame modes for all players, from Trials of Osiris for PvP to Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes for PvE. However, one of the game’s highlights remains its Raids, which are often very large activities with plenty of exclusive mechanics, encounters, and loot. They also frequently make for great group experiences and the best memories in the whole game, especially on first clears....
For those who don’t know or remember three-tap hand cannons from Destiny 1, hand cannons such as the Eyasluna were legendary for their ability to kill in PvP with just three precision shots. Especially in Destiny 1’s Year 3, three-tap hand cannons became a favorite of PvP players for their quick time to kill. And, in a teaser trailer that Destiny 2 developer Bungie just released for a livestream next week that will cover combat changes coming to the game in Forsaken, there is a clip of a hand cannon (which looks like Better Devils) that kills a Guardian in just three shots to the head....
Or at least it was initially thought that the gear scaling was random, but some Destiny 2 players have discovered that may not be the case. In fact, a new vendor tool will help players track when a given faction leader offers gear at power level 300. The tool requires a lot of input from Destiny 2 players, but the goal is to figure out any patterns between vendors and their gear rotations....
Once again, the key to this big damage setup is the One Two Punch perk. This Destiny 2 weapon perk can roll on a number of different shotguns, including the new One Small Step kinetic shotgun from the Lectern of Enchantment. Some do it for the love of the game while others feel compelled by the need to procure new loot and upgrade their best weapons and gear. And amidst those players is a large selection of devoted Destiny fans that are trying to make it to the game’s level cap. It may be the completionist that’s in all of us or maybe it’s a need to be better prepared for that expansion; whatever the case getting to level 30 is still a goal that many are reaching for but having a hard time attaining....
Then, when word broke that the first teams to beat the Vault of Glass raid took about 12 hours to do so, it seemed our fears were realized. Bungie had delivered on their promise of making the raids uber challenging. However, things changed pretty fast. Shortly after the first team beat the raid word broke of another team that beat The Vault of Glass in about two hours, putting to rest fears the event might be a multi-day affair....

Destruction AllStars’ Stockpile mode is similar to Carnado, as players will have to collect gears, but the big difference here is that there are three separate banks or bases scattered around the map. Players will have to smash into other players and then proceed to pick up the gears that drop on the ground and then take said gears to one of the banks to stock them up.
