Update 2.5.2.2 went live on September 3, 2019 and it brought a change to the Mars destination that will directly impact those seeking out the Wayfarer title. The change makes it so that the Braytech Schematics found on Mars now have a greater chance of giving players a weapon they do not already have. Not only that, but Braytech Schematics have been made more common, no longer being limited to one drop per account per day....

In a very detailed This Week At Bungie post, Bungie announced what the goal is when it comes to abilities and Supers in Destiny 2, and what will be done with them when the patch drops. As one would expect, accompanying the substantial changes to the foundations of Destiny 2’s grenades, melee attacks, and Supers, there are also a plethora of buffs and nerfs to take into account. Many of those complaints have been leveled at Destiny 2’s PvE, which players are experiencing through the game’s first story mission and the strike that are included in the beta. New Combat Abilities in Destiny 2? One of the major questions that potential Destiny 2 players might have about the game is how Bungie plans to handle classes and abilities in the game. From the game’s marketing materials we know that Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks will be making a return, but whether or not they will have the same, similar, or completely new abilities is unclear. Thanks to a new message from Bungie, however, fans now know that there will be at least some new combat abilities for them to play around with in Destiny 2....

The confirmation comes directly from Destiny 2 director Luke Smith, who took to Twitter to confirm that “Destiny 2’s PlayStation exclusive content will arrive on Xbox One and PC in 2018.” The developer had previously stated that the content would be console exclusive for PS4 until at least Fall 2018, so it’s good to get this reiterated once again now that the content itself has been revealed. Although this statement might be a little bit less specific than the previous release date of the PS4 exclusive content for all remaining platforms, it looks as though the plan is still on for the content to arrive a year after it’s been exclusive for the PS4....

As most know, Destiny 2: Forsaken will include Mods 2.0, a revamp of the current mod system for weapons and armor. Currently, mods are a far cry from what players had hoped, offering very few benefits and small utility. Not to mention, juggling all of the different mods has become a pain with limited vault space. Previously, legendary mods were mostly used as a way to boost a player’s power level in Destiny 2....

In a weird twist of fate, many guardians are finding renewed entertainment in being able to play raids with 12 guardians at once. This isn’t like other exploits that make certain guardian builds unstoppable, or help cheese certain bounties. Rather, this is a manipulation of netcode and good timing that stuffs lobbies with too many players. Obviously this method can be used to cheese raids and strikes with unbalanced fireteams, but a majority of players have been doing it out of sheer curiosity....

Every season is almost guaranteed to feature a specific event based on the time of year, and then there are activities like secret Exotic missions, such as Harbinger and Presage. These things make Destiny 2’s community come together every single time thanks to convoluted puzzles to solve, competing in the Guardian Games, or even working out Raid secrets and the likes of them. And yet, after the current Festival of the Lost ends next Tuesday, players will have nothing much to look forward to in the game for at least a whole month, excluding a single Iron Banner round....

As seen during previous seasons of Destiny 2, unlocking the upgrades requires a specific currency that drops once the weekly seasonal storyline mission is completed.
