Mike Mariana was a huge Destiny fan, logging almost 3,000 hours in the game. According to his clanmates, he spent a lot of his time helping other players get through PvE content, but he had never made it to the prestigious Lighthouse. The Lighthouse is the reward for players who are able to overcome Destiny’s greatest PvP challenge, going undefeated — or Flawless — in Trials of Osiris. But that all changed when his friends enlisted the help of Destiny streamer DrLupo, known for playing Trials of Osiris and helping people go Flawless....

One task that can make Destiny players a little crazy is the search for Calcified Fragments on Oryx’s Dreadnaught ship. As many players are now aware, these Calcified Fragments are returned to Eris Morn at the Tower in exchange for Summoning Runes, which players use to trigger events to the Court of Oryx. However, according to lore, these fragments may also be used to craft the Touch of Malice, a raid-specific exotic weapon similar to the Vex Mythoclast and Necrochasm....

The gear system in Destiny is no stranger to controversy. From the infamous loot caves discovered by players shortly after launch last year, to the complete retooling given to the engram system after many complaints, Bungie has had to put in some serious work to keep Destiny’s players happy while also attempting to stay true to their vision for the game. So while today’s news that Destiny’s next expansion will not feature a new raid is certainly a bombshell, Bungie also teased some changes to the gearing system in House of Wolves that could serve to win back player support....

Paranormal Tales is the first title from developer Horror Cam Committee and publisher Joure, and the debut trailer shows a heavy influence from Hideo Kojima’s cancelled horror game PT. PT was a planned Silent Hill game bringing together the iconic Kojima with acclaimed horror director Guillermo del Toro and actor Norman Reedus, and was teased with a short playable demo on PS4 in 2014. Although PT was ultimately canceled, the terrifying teaser developed a cult following, with fans creating remakes of the horror short in everything from VRChat to Dreams on PS4....

Blackwood posted his second straight shutout, stopping 25 shots in the Devils’ 4-0 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday. He became the first rookie goalie in franchise history to post back-to-back shutouts. Blackwood is 3-1 since joining the Devils on Dec. 18th. He blanked the Carolina Hurricanes 2-0 on Saturday. Developer Vicarious Visions’ biggest changes to Diablo 2 are the game’s visuals. An entirely new 3D renderer for graphics was built on top of the core logic and gameplay of the original Diablo 2, allowing the team to replace all art assets with modern textures and 3D models. However, Vicarious Visions is going further than just updating the visuals. For example, the updated tech allowed the team to use dynamic 3D lighting....
