Reddit user Trinsikk started the thread reporting the issue and it has blown up with discussions and troubleshooting in the following hours. At this point, there doesn’t seem to be a fix and no other Ruzen 3000 build owners have jumped in to contradict the reported issue. Gamescom revealed a new trailer that showed off the Stasis Subclasses that will be made available once the expansion in released in November. While fans may now know of the three subclasses that will soon be playable in Destiny 2, not much is known about what abilities they have. However, fans do know when Bungie will be releasing more information about these subclasses, and the reveals will be coming soon....
To celebrate the impending launch of the PC version, Bungie has just released a new launch trailer that puts all the focus on the game’s stunning visuals. In addition to highlighting some of the game’s prettiest scenes and settings, the trailer also shows off many of the game’s perfect or near perfect review scores. Take a look at the PC launch trailer right here… It seems very likely that gamers who are going to buy Destiny 2 on PC are already sold on the title, but a little last minute marketing push definitely doesn’t hurt....
In the meantime, Stasis has seen a lot of use in Destiny 2 thus far, and thanks to its Aspects and Fragments it helps players customize what their characters do. However, Stasis has also seen a lot of changes since its introduction in Beyond Light, and that’s because the game doesn’t have separate sandboxes for PVE and PVP. In fact, most of the tweaks for Stasis came after issues arose in the Crucible and Trials of Osiris....
Similar to what is going to happen with Lord Saladin’s Iron Banner tokens being removed, Bungie has been reworking vendor systems to make them more akin to the core playlist NPCs, such as the Drifter or Zavala. With The Witch Queen, it was the turn of Banshee-44, the Tower’s Gunsmith, for whose rank-up players needed to turn in Gunsmith Materials prior to the change. Unfortunately, the current rank-up system is not pleasing players because of how much time and effort is required of them to obtain even a single rank....
Reddit user u/meapppp points out some details in a post on the Destiny subreddit the connections between some leaked images alongside officially released artwork and screenshots from Bungie. Most of the official images come from a number of recent This Week at Bungie blog posts, the weekly blog that the developer uses to keep players informed on what they can expect to come with future updates and expansions. Following the release of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, Bungie made a few changes to how it approaches Seasonal Activities such as the Sundial and has given players an entry-level difficulty while continuing to offer a Legend (Hard Mode) variant for endgame level loot rewards. With so many different weekly milestones to grind out, the Destiny 2 Companion App has become one of the easiest ways for players to be able to find groups quickly and invite them through the console, to the point that it’s now a must-have App for both hardcore and casual players in 2020....
This difference for challenge level in the modern Iron Banner doesn’t come from any changes made since Iron Banner first arrived in the original Destiny nearly 8 years ago, though. Instead, it is the individual skill of the players who move from other competitive events in Destiny 2, like Trials of Osiris, in order to make Iron Banner a deep end for PVP. That wait will soon be over, though, as Bungie has confirmed it will add the Arcstrider Hunter into the Destiny 2 demo at this year’s E3 2017 event. Those in attendance will be able to go hands-on and try the subclass for the first time. The Arcstrider is the new Arc-based subclass for the Hunter in Destiny 2, replacing the Bladedancer subclass from Destiny 1. Virtually nothing is known about the subclass’s abilities, including its perks in Destiny 2’s new “build” system....
While the full loot pool is not quite known yet—it’s assumed that the Substitutional Alloy armor sets that are part of the season pass, for example, will also drop in Vex Offensive—but what is clear is that there are four weapons that are completely exclusive to Vex Offensive. Many Destiny 2 fans expected Lightfall news on Bungie Day, the recurring anniversary of Bungie’s foundation in July 1991, but the company didn’t have any sort of announcement planned for that date. Bungie’s silence on Lightfall is understandable because of the recent harassment issues that its developers are facing, and it also makes sense because players don’t yet know what the Seasons that precede the expansion are going to be about....
Bungie’s Tom Farnsworth has revealed once piece of Destiny 2 content that was inspired by a classic video game level. On Twitter, the Destiny 2 Season of Arrivals lead confirmed that the Corridors of Time mission/area in the game is inspired by the Lost Woods from the Legend of Zelda. Bungie also held a Trials Labs weekend in which it introduced a capture point to Trials’ Elimination mode. These Labs modes are meant to be just that, experiments where Bungie collects data and feedback from the community on the different variations they test on Trials of Osiris. First up is an issue with heroic adventures that had Barons dropping legendary rewards outside of the heroic adventure. Now, Barons will grant one guaranteed legendary per day in heroic adventures, with subsequent kills granting the aforementioned reward at a much slower rate. As a result Destiny 2 players will no longer be able to farm Barons for gear. This hotfix also addressed an issue where players get stuck with the Origin Story/Last Dance weapons if they were to use the character level boost after completing Homecoming, one of the best missions in Destiny history....
During this event, players earn faction tokens for participating in most activities like Lost Sectors, Strikes, the Leviathan Raid, Public Events, and the Crucible. Turn in these tokens to the chosen faction leader to increase rank and earn faction specific loot such as armor, guns, shaders, and more. Once the event is at an end, the faction with the most rewards packages handed out is declared the winner, and offering its power weapon to members at a big discount....
But there are some who may wonder if their preparation involving gameplay may be for naught. Specifically, there are likely some wondering if Destiny 2 will wipe any token inventory before Season 3 starts with the release of Warmind. We are happy to report that Bungie says it will not be removing any tokens from players’ inventories prior to the launch of Warmind on May 8th. So all of those Iron Banner, Faction Rally, and Raid tokens that players have been holding onto will still be there in a week’s time....
As many assumed, Bungie is currently working on the content that is coming to Destiny 2 as part of the Annual Pass, which is comprised of two more seasons of content similar to what fans have seen this season with Black Armory. While Smith didn’t address just how far the commitment with Activision goes, considering that Activision studio Vicarious Visions is working on the final content drop of the Annual Pass, it’s a safe assumption that Activision and Bungie will remain involved until at least all the Annual Pass content launches....
Destiny players have once again discovered another glitch, this time allowing for unlimited generation of ammo for special and heavy weapons. It doesn’t work across the board however; it requires a specific pairing of weapons and perks. Much like the Golden Gun glitch that only appeared with a specific gear setup, this one exploits the combination of the weapon perk Cocoon and Clown Cartridge. Cocoon is a perk that exists on every King’s Fall raid weapon: “When stowed for a short time, this weapon is automatically reloaded from your reserves....
The trailer, while brief, gives players a good look at the Disintegrator Ray. As the name implies, the weapon is capable of disintegrating enemies, or in some cases, causing them to burst into flames. It’s one of the key pieces of Crypto’s arsenal, and certainly one of the most versatile weapons in the game. In Destruction AllStars, players will take on the role of colorful characters who compete against each other in teams, as they try to smash each other to pieces. Gameplay seems to be a mix of character versus character battles and cars crashing into each other as players could land a flying kick from a distance or just rev their engines to fight the old fashioned way. It’s unclear how characters end up out of their vehicles and what they have to do to get back into a car, but the wildness of it all makes this one of the weirdest games coming to PS5....
