The new Destiny 2 Witch Queen trailer highlights Savathun’s Throne World and the enemies within even further, featuring what seems to be a new creature within the Throne World’s structures. An important detail comes from the presence of Scorn enemies within Savathun’s realm, as the Hive God herself reveals that her Throne World is indistinguishable from her mind, but the Scorn are part of Xivu Arath’s army. As such, it’s very likely that Xivu Arath’s forces are also at play in this strange place, and players will have to defeat them as shown in the trailer....
Another key change for Iron Banner this season is the way Bungie is handling the introductory quests. Rather than make Destiny 2 players go through a lengthy quest in order to unlock the new Iron Banner items, the new quest is fairly easy to complete and more importantly, it ties into the weapons available. The video focuses on what brings the Sentinel sub-class to life in Destiny 2. Players may seen what the shield-toting Guardian version of Captain America can do in action in early gameplay footage, but now Bungie is explaining what makes the subclass tick. The Sentinel will be replacing the Titan’s Defender Void subclass from the original Destiny. The Defender’s Super Ability, players will recall, is the Ward of Dawn bubble shield which blocks weapon fire while also empowering teammates....
In playing Destiny 2, following the gameplay reveal event earlier today, Game Rant came across something called Strange Dust. A currency that will feature in the sequel in some capacity, the official description attached to it reads “Used to improve or trade for other items.” Dust is something that showed up in the first Destiny game, as Silver Dust was both a rare consumable and a currency and could be used to purchase rare and legendary emotes, engrams, ornaments and more, so the fact that some sort of variation on that features in the sequel is no surprise....

E3 gave fans plenty of new information about Forsaken and how it’s the biggest Destiny expansion in the history of the franchise, even eclipsing the popular Taken King update from September 2015. Naturally, the PlayStation 4 version of the game is getting timed exclusive content in the form of loot and an extra strike to go with the three that all platforms get. As for Xbox and PC players, the original year 1 Destiny 2 timed content will also be unlocked including class gear sets, the Lake of Shadows strike, the Borealis exotic sniper rifle, and other exclusive gear from Curse of Osiris and Warmind expansions....
Destiny 2 is currently in its final season of year 5, titled Season of the Seraph, which looks to set the table for the events to come when Lightfall releases in February 2023. The season sees players work alongside Ana, Elsie, and Clovis Bray, Mara Sov, and Osiris to reform and reawaken the AI Rasputin after being dormant for nearly two years. It’s almost a given that anytime something within a franchise is revised, revisited, or adjusted, it’s going to be compared to the original. Such was the case for the recent release of Saints Row, with many looking at it through the lens of one of the first four games, and the same can be said of the King’s Fall raid. According to a report from New York Daily News, an unidentified NYPD detective was processing a crime scene in Queens just before 12 p.m. on Monday when his assailant struck. Bystander footage was posted hours later to the NYPD Detectives’ Endowment Association Twitter account and has been viewed nearly 650,000 times. The post was captioned, “Welcome to NYC!” The video shows the officer pausing outside of the storefront to take notes on the situation, when his assailant, wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and black pants, strikes him over the head with a plastic stick....
Legendary Pictures has announced that the first live action Pokemon movie ever will not be based on the core handheld games, or even the popular anime. No, the first live action Pokemon film will be Detective Pikachu, to begin production in 2017. Detective Pikachu, for the uninitiated, is a 3DS exclusive adventure game where players play as a boy named Tim Goodman, who teams with a talking Pikachu to solve mysteries....

One distinct possibility is that Hideaki Itsuno’s new game is Devil May Cry 5. Following a financially disappointing reboot, it would make sense for Capcom to put Itsuno back at the helm of the next game in the series. Itsuno being more actively involved with the game’s development could ease fans’ concerns, plus a voice actor already outed the existence of Devil May Cry 5. Since Itsuno served as the director for all but two games in the series, it stands to reason that he will direct the probable fifth game....
