In light of some leaks and revelations about Destiny 2 Season 10, it is looking like the perfect time for developer Bungie to take a heavy-handed PvP approach to a season. If there was ever a time that Bungie would take that risk, Season 10 seems like the most likely period. Firstly, this short shelf life means that Lightfall newcomers will not be able to get Revision Zero for a long time. It could eventually become available again at a high price from the Kiosk in the Tower, but this is not a desirable situation for those who want to experience all the content the game has to offer. This also applies to veteran players who didn’t play through Season 19 and missed out on every part of the Revision Zero Exotic questline in Destiny 2....
The key to this Destiny 2 Tribute Hall trick is to have at least two characters and to be active during the game’s daily reset at 10 am PT. Essentially, the game will not confuse completed bounties and award a total of 8 Boons of Opulence in a day. First, you want to login to a Destiny 2 character prior to the reset. Go to the Tribute Hall and pick up the 4 Champion Bounties for that day....
The overall goal for players is to earn as much Dawning Spirit as possible, in order to complete the seasonal Gift Abundance quest to unlock prizes for players in the Tower. The main way to earn Dawning Spirit has been through daily and weekly bounties paying out two and ten Dawning Spirit, respectively. While there are other ways to earn a small amount of Dawning Spirit in addition to this, players should focus on this year’s exotic ship quest which can give a small passive income of Dawning Spirit for encountering Dawning ingredients....
Speasking of player versus player, Bungie is also planning some pretty major changes to the Crucible in the upcoming 1.1.4 update. The biggest change is switching Iron Banner back to traditional 6v6 as well as classic settings like all neutral flags in Control, 12 minute matches, a score limit of 125, and much more. In addition to those Iron Banner changes, the Crucuble is also getting back Rumble, a free for all mode, and is set to re-introduce weekly rotating modes like Mayhem and a revamped Doubles....
Players are now entering the second week of the Forsaken expansion, and surprisingly, the topic of resets has been under a bit of controversy as of late. Due to some odd behavior with the new challenge reset system added with Forsaken, as the Gambit, Crucible, and heroic story weekly challenges seemingly reset early on Saturday. Unfortunately, this means that those who completed them won’t find new ones available today. Bungie is aware of the situation and is working on a fix, though it won’t be ready in time this week....
So far, players have discovered a new campaign mission for Petra as well as a brand new strike called the Corrupted and the Cathedral of Stars map for Gambit players. From an aesthetics standpoint, Taken blight has started to form over many of the Awoken buildings in this destination, and a new high level Blind Well tier has also unlocked. Curiously enough, players have also started to discover small hidden metal plates around the game world featuring symbols seen within the first phase of the Last Wish raid....
After a lengthy hiatus, Trials of Osiris returned to Destiny 2 in March 2020 with new bounties and weapons for players to chase, as well as the sought after trip to the Lighthouse. While the mode’s return proved popular for a while, issues continued to creep in due to bugs, lack of compelling rewards initially, and the rise of cheating on the PC version of Destiny 2. The population continued to drop as well, leaving players wanting a quick way to earn rewards instead of playing legitimately....
But not anymore. Later this month, Destiny will add an Ornament kiosk in the Tower, which will allow players to visit and purchase exactly the Ornaments they want without having to hope they get lucky with RNG. An Ornament will be the same cost as the ones that the weekly vendor Xur has been offering: 25 Silver Dust. The kiosk will be added on December 13, when The Dawning event goes live....
As an MMO and FPS from the makers of Halo, Destiny has all of the right fun-packed ingredients to make a meal far more substantial than a bowl of chips and salsa Verde. However, a problem with Destiny’s persistent online world if there ever was one, is that like Battlefield 4’s server troubles, it could potentially run into a big bit of lag bother without the right consideration. The Destiny beta on PS3 and PS4 (it’s a timed exclusive on PlayStation) should help to solve that as those record breaking pre-order holders put the game and its servers through its stress testing paces but before then, the recent PS4-only Destiny alpha could help to iron out initial kinks....
Bungie has revealed that in the free April Update—which is bringing a revamped Prison of Elders mode, a new Light level cap, as well as a new Strike and mission—players can visit Petra Venj in the Reef to collect a new exclusive Quest which will end in a “unique reward.” There’s no way to know the entirety of the new Quest, but the first step was shown on screen during Bungie’s April Update reveal stream....

Trespasser, the new exotic sidearm that has been teased in the promotion of Rise of Iron, can be earned now. The lucky players who have gotten their hands on this weapon have done so by decrypting engrams. Energy Transfer, the owner of Sunoco Pipeline LP, is facing 48 criminal charges, most of them for releasing industrial waste at 22 sites in 11 counties across the state.
