With nothing but their wits and the expertise their classes hold, the Diablo game enthralls players with the signature action-oriented combat of Diablo 3 and the sheer gothic atmosphere of Diablo 2. And for players who don’t want to be left out in the daily grind to fight the Burning Hells without sending their wallet to the pits of the underworld, just what should be a part of their daily checklist for free-to-play?
Take Note Of Daily Tasks
Perhaps the primary objective of players once they enter the game for a day, the Daily Tasks they could complete in Diablo Immortal are quite a lot and may need a bit of planning to finish.
After doing these tasks, players are free to pursue whatever is left of their Weekly and Monthly Checklist for a headstart, or simply proceed with the rest of their usual day’s business. At its core, some Daily Tasks could be segregated into the following:
Collection Tasks
These pertain to tasks where players need to focus on collecting rewards from their previous endeavors. It’s ideal to do this first to ensure that players have a clean slate with nothing else to collect, and the only tasks to do for the day involve finishing objectives, so they have more things to collect during the next day. Daily things to collect are the following:
Free Daily Reward Chest: Players can access this reward from the in-game Shop and this contains random rewards that range from Glowing Shards, Enchanted Dust, Scrap, or Gold. Elder Rift: Interacting with the Elder Rift will give players one (1) Rare Chest, perfect for pursuing both ordinary and broken Diablo Immortal builds. Challenge Rifts: Interacting with the Challenge Rift will net players various Hilts based on their progress from the previous day.
Checking Tasks
These tasks involve players “checking” whether they have earned particular rewards during yesterday’s endeavors. This is separate from collecting as there’s no guarantee as to what players could earn in these tasks, and only matter once players actually decide to look into these quests in the first place. Here’s what players should take note of:
Leaderboards: Players can secure First-Clear Rewards from other players, as players get Gold and Hilt once they’re the first one of a certain level to clear Challenge Rifts. This incentivizes getting stronger consistently. Hilts Trader: Players may want to check the Hilts Trader for any limited-time or daily items they can buy exclusively. These include 5 Aspirant’s Keys, 10 Normal Gems, and 2 Crests, all of which reset twice a day.
Completion Tasks
Unlike the other two tasks, these daily challenges involve things for players to actually complete or accomplish. These are important, as they offer rewards on the get-go or earn rewards that players can collect tomorrow or in the near future. Here are those tasks that players need to take note of:
First Kill of the Day: Players earn their First Kill of the Day Reward once they kill a single monster, the reward of which is randomized per week. Bounty Board: Players can complete various Bounties from the Bounty Board, of which they can do eight (8) daily up to 24 if they haven’t been doing this frequently. Depending on the quest, Bounties can give players random items, Gold, and Experience. Side Quests for Enchanted Dust: Players should do various Side Quests in the area until they can no longer collect Enchanted Dust. It’s recommended Diablo Immortal players do not skip this alongside Bounty Board quests for faster completion. Adventure Seeker: Players should also complete Side Quests from the Adventure Seeker in Westmarch. This is ideally done alongside Bounty Board and other Side Quests for faster completion. Legacy of the Horadrim: Players should complete the Battle Pass Activity involving the exploration of the Sanctum Depths. Completing this will give players one free chest, and they can use an Aspirant Key to net more Beryls, Garnets, and Sapphires. Challenge Rifts: Players can do Challenge Rifts to earn Enigmatic Crystals as well as Hilts they can collect during the next day. Codex: The Codex also offers three (3) Daily Activity Rewards that vary every day. Players can earn BP they could spend to collect these, which nets them Platinum, Charm, and Hilts.
Shadow Tasks
Players can also earn additional rewards once they join the Shadows PVP Faction, which represents the team of fighters dedicated to challenging the Immortals and ensuring their capacity to defend Sanctuary. In the game, joining the Shadows will give players daily rewards once they finish these tasks:
Daily Shadow Contract: Players can complete up to three (3) Shadow Contracts to earn EXP, items, as well as Marks. Raid Vaults with other Shadows: Vaults are available for raiding twice a day, and doing this with a fellow Shadow member can give players EXP, gold, Hilts, a s well as chances at Legendary Items. Builds like the Cyclone Strike Monk may be able to do this quickly, as well as other aggressive playstyles. Do Elder Rifts: Players should do three (3) Elder Rifts to gain the Daedessa’s Blessing Rewards. These count regardless of whether or not said Rifts have Crests. Do the Battlegrounds: The Battlegrounds are active at least three (3) times a day, and participating in these can give players various rewards. There are marks in store for victors as well. Do the Assembly: If players are a member of the Shadows, they can participate in the Assembly to gain all of its four blessings, which contain Marks, EXP, and gold.
Consider Weekly, Monthly Tasks
On top of daily activities, players of Diablo Immortal may also want to consider looking into their other rewards options to see if they have completed certain Weekly and Monthly Tasks. That way, players remain on top of the rewards they can earn and be able to start finishing goals that will grant them more rewards down the line.
Weekly Checklist
There are things players could do in Diablo Immortal that net them rewards at the end of each week. To those who aren’t keeping track, they might be surprised to see that they’ve earned random rewards for things they’ve accomplished after days of playing.
However, players may want to start integrating their Weekly Checklist into their daily tasks in order to ensure they hit multiple birds with one stone. While the rewards don’t necessarily include Diablo Immortal Legendary Gems, they are fairly decent to farm for regular players. Here are things to consider:
Hilts Trader: The Hilts Trader provides various items on sale every week, including three (3) Charms, eight (8) Reforge Stones, ten (10) Normal Gems, and one (1) Legendary Gear. Challenge Rifts: Players need to complete as many Challenge Rifts as they could, as this nets them special Gold and Hilts rewards depending on their progress. Helliquary Raid Boss: Players who take their time and defeat the Helliquary Raid Boss may provide them with Battle Points, Scoria, and a whole host of other rewards based on the Boss defeated. Shadow War (Saturday): Being a part of the Shadows Faction may give players the opportunity to net various rewards if they regularly participate in the team’s activities. Rite of Exile (Sunday): Participating on the Rite of Exile every Sunday 8PM (server time) will give players various rewards such as Hilts, marks, Experience, and random items. These are only available once players become a high ranking member of either the Shadows or Immortals Faction.
Consider Zone Events
Aside from traditional collection and checking tasks, players do have the option of participating in various Zone Events. These are PVE events that rotate every week, with various mechanics and rewards that players may earn along the way. Here are those events that players need to consider, alongside their usual server times:
Demon Gates (Monday, Thursday, Sunday, 12PM, 8:30PM, 10PM): Occurring either in the Molten Egress or the Forest of Misery inside the Realm of Damnation, this ten-minute event will have players activate a portal. Afterwards, they have to defeat an Elite Monster, often a Maliduce or Anguish Harvester. It’s ideal to clear the area surrounding the portal first, so the Elite Monster doesn’t get backup. Haunted Carriage (Tuesday, Saturday, 12PM, 8:30PM, 10PM): Players need to go to the Ashwold Cemetery zone, specifically in the Mansion waypoint. As the event begins, players need to navigate the Haunted Carriage and eliminate various enemies throughout the long route. At the end of the path, players need to defeat the Tax Collector in order to earn various rewards. Ancient Nightmare (Wednesday, Friday, 12PM, 8:30PM, 10PM): Players need to go to the Misty Valley Waypoint of the Mount Zavain zone. AFterwards, players need to defeat the Lord Martanos World Boss, which then contributes to the d defeat of the limited-time Ancient Nightmare World Boss.
Ancient Arena
Another weekly event players need to consider is the Ancient Arena, which takes place in the Bilefen and is a time-sensitive event. This is a similar routine they can add to maximize their rewards, similar to the typical Diablo 3 grind. Here are its general components:
When: 9:30PM Server Time on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday Mechanics: This is a battle royale where all players who managed to enter the Ancient Arena are going to fight to the death. After an additional enemy, the Ancient Guardian, is defeated, the last player standing gets to earn one (1) Legendary Loot!
Monthly Checklist
Although not as diverse as both dailies and weeklies, there are certain monthly objectives that players can fulfill in order to net them even better rewards for their efforts throughout the game. Currently, this involves the Hilts Trader, where players have an option to purchase one (1) Legendary Crest and one (1) Legendary Gem monthly, with more options available once players become a part of the Immortals.
Diablo Immortal is available for iOS, Android, and PC.
