RELATED: Awesome Side Quest Hidden In Diablo Immortal

While there is certainly room for debate as to what the best PvP Necromancer build in Diablo Immortal might be, especially in various team compositions, looking across multiple servers gives gamers several hints as to what the best Necromancers are doing. When averaged together, this is the build that the pros are going for.

Due to several factors, like gear, skills, reforging, and upgrades, it is impossible to list the exact quantities for many of the numbers detailed here. Any variable number has been replaced with an ‘X’ to signify its potential to change.

Skill Selection

This PvP build is similar to the classic Summoner build, but it drops Command Skeletons and Dark Curse in favor of Wraith Form and Bone Armor. Wraith Form, as the only mobility move for Necromancers, is critical. And because the team can benefit from Bone Armor, it’s mandatory for Battlegrounds.

Gear

The bulk of gamers will be hunting down their ideal pieces of legendary gear after taking the time to beat the game. But don’t forget to track down the set bonus pieces after choosing them from the list. A complete set gives three additional effects, on par with the legendary bonuses from the regular gear.

Primary Gear

Most builds can’t make use of every item slot, but this PvP build has something for the core Necromancer skills. It can take some practice to use Bone Armor with the new Parting Gift, but, used at key moments, it becomes a skill that can absorb every bit of an enemy’s most powerful blow.

Set Items

The Necromancer’s two biggest flaws in PvP; its mobility limitation and vulnerability as a caster, are both turned into strengths with the Windloft Perfection set. Once completed, it gives the Necromancer another layer of total immunity.

Reforge Bonuses

Even for paid players, reforge attribute bonuses can be guided, but are not guaranteed completely. With enough rerolls, any player can eventually get the exact attribute they want, but this will take time and luck, even for those who have the money. Therefore, several different attributes have been listed within the same family, in order of preference.

Family Bonus

PvP and stun effects are a classic pair. The Necromancer should make great use of this, especially since they’ll be using their primary attacks more than most classes

Attributes

The Tremor family is a good fit for PvP, so most rolls have at least some degree of usefulness. While many players get a bit of everything, these were the top three attributes noted.

Gems

There are two kinds of gems to consider for this build: the legendary gems and the regular gems. Players of all income levels will be using this guide, so there are three charts for legendary gems to choose from. Probability demands that even paying for an advantage will still make it tough to get the right gems, so feel free to mix and match from the charts based on the character’s most valuable stats.

Legendary Gems

PvP veterans understand how much builds can change. The ideal legendary gems end up appearing to look like tank items and buffs, but this is how the Necromancer survives. Dying is the quickest way to lose a match for a team in the Battlegrounds. Savvy opponents know this and will be directly targeting the Necromancer as a result.

The 2-star gems aren’t as tanky as the 5-star gems, but they focus more heavily on offense, giving the team a reliable damage dealer and a reason to protect the Necromancer in group fights.

These 1-star gem options can’t compete with the Resonance level of the higher-rated gems, but they can be extremely effective when employed in PvP.

Regular Gem Preference

Given the choice between tanking and damage, elect for extra damage every time, allowing the best defense to be a good offense. Although the rule up to this point has been to take the tankier option, the damage-dealing regular gems more than offset would be prevented by the alternatives. Some elite players have a few defensive gems mixed in, so review damage logs carefully.
