He is on a break and is utilising this time to relax himself and spend some quality time with family before the start of the demanding season which begins with South Africa’s tour, scheduled to kick-start on the 29th of September.

In the meantime, he is also keeping a check on his fitness and endurance level. He played a complete 90-minute football match with the players of Silli Football Academy at Silli Stadium near Ranchi. He was invited to the academy by an old friend, Sudesh.

Dhoni used to be a goalkeeper before he took to keeping wickets. However, during the match, he took the position of the left flank. The 34-year-old even managed to score a goal for his team.

Dhoni is keeping a check on his fitness levels ahead of the grueling schedule that awaits the Indian team.
