Destiny 2’s Season of the Seraph follows the previous Season of Plunder, which had many players lose interest in Bungie’s popular online shooter due to the repetitive seasonal activities, lack of new maps, and stale seasonal model. The current Season 19 of Destiny 2 aims to explore new parts of the game’s diverse lore and introduce a plethora of new content to bring players back to the world of Destiny 2. Season of the Seraph is the final season before the game’s next big expansion, Destiny 2: Lightfall, releases on February 28th, which will see Guardians traveling to the far reaches of the Solar System to explore the mysteries of Neomuna and clash against Calus’ Shadow Legion of Cabal. As such, it’s more than likely that Season of the Seraph’s seasonal story will set the stage for Lightfall as it progresses over the next few months.

As for the dungeon armor that Destiny 2 fans can look forward to unlocking from the upcoming dungeon activity, an image posted on Twitter from the user HexbitsV2 shows off the different sets for each Guardian class. This leaked image was posted as a response to a tweet from Paul Tassi, and if this leak is to be trusted, gives players a chance to decorate their characters in a style that has never been seen before in the game. The armor would seem to appeal to anyone with a taste for the wild west, featuring some truly unique armor designs which involve cowboy hats and ammo bandoliers. These would appear to be rewards fitting for a dungeon, and would allow players to dress up their characters like some kind of western cowboy or spacefaring bounty hunter. Leaked images should always be taken with a grain of salt however, and players will be able to get their eyes on the in-game armor pieces when the Destiny 2 dungeon launches in just a few days. On top of the dungeon’s release, players can look forward to additional content as the season progresses, such as an exotic quest for the new Revision Zero exotic weapon.
So far, players seem to be enjoying the new Heist Battlegrounds seasonal activity and its mechanics, while also favoring the new cosmetic items and ornaments available during this season. Fans will have much more to look forward to as the season’s story progresses, bringing Guardians ever closer to the release of Lightfall in February.
Destiny 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
