The H.E.L.M. is returning in Season of the Splicer and is getting a few changes for the new season. To handle the Splicer tech, the Vanguard has completed a new chamber overlooking the loading bay that harbors the tools Guardians will need to plan their response to the Vex.

While many Guardians will be familiar with the H.E.L.M. from Season 13, Season of the Chosen, the H.E.L.M. has received some changes to accompany the Season of the Splicer. Equipped with some Eliksni, a Servitor, and other Eliksni specific items, Guardians will essentially play host to some Eliksni, presumably from House Light.

For Guardians who are unaware at the moment, Season of the Splicer finds Guardians working with an old Eliksni friend and the Kell of House Light, Mithrax. Working with Mithrax to bring an end to the Endless Night means Guardians and Eliksni setting aside their differences to work together.

This will not be the first time Guardians have worked with Mithrax, building upon the relationship that started when Guardians spared Mithrax and in return were allowed to take a generator needed by Commander Sloane. Later, Mithrax would help Guardians in the Zero Hour mission to uncover the Outbreak Perfected.

Bringing Mithrax to the H.E.L.M. to help Guardians could be a risky move, but given the previously established relationship with Mithrax, Guardians should not have much to worry about. Though the new area in the H.E.L.M. is already adorned with the symbol of what appears to be House Light.

Bungie has only given Guardians a tease as to what the new area of the H.E.L.M. holds for Guardians, but in the image provided, it appears that a citizen of the Last City is talking to an Eliksni, potentially showing the start of more cohesion between the Eliksni and the citizens of the Last City, and by extension, the Guardians themselves.

Destiny 2 Guardians still have a few more days before the new area in the H.E.L.M. is accessible and the fight to save the Smallen baby Eliksni from the Endless Night, begins.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
