As players collect the raid keys, they have the entire week to go back and search through the labyrinth and find the corresponding chests, but only that week. That’s because all raid keys will reset with Destiny 2’s weekly reset every Tuesday.

Although it has been part of a help article located on developer Bungie’s website, Bungie tweeted out the information, letting players know that if they are holding onto raid keys, they will vanish from their inventories as of Tuesday at 2 a.m. PDT.

The Leviathan raid also resets at the same time every week, so the removal of raid keys further separates that activity into a weekly rotation of both completing and exploring the raid before the entire thing will have to be redone.

So, those holding onto raid keys who have yet to re-enter the Leviathan’s depths to use those keys to unlock the treasure chests have just a few more days to do so.

At this point, most of the raid’s initial secrets have been discovered, although that’s not to say that there may be some more hidden gems to find, especially when it comes to the labyrinth section. As is always the case with the raid, now comes the process of players perfecting and streamlining the strategies for the raid. And of course, the raid’s mysterious Prestige mode is on the horizon for release sometime in October.

Destiny 2 is out now for PS4 and Xbox One, and on October 24, 2017 for PC.
