For this week, Destiny 2 is selling the Too Cool Dance emote for Bright Dust instetad of Silver. It costs 700 Bright Dust, which is the exact amount that players get for free every week during the 30th Anniversary celebration. After acquiring the Spider-Man 3 Too Cool Dance, Destiny 2 players can perform it wherever they’d like, whether that’s just to dance with other Guardians that they see in the Tower or if it’s to taunt defeated enemies in The Crucible.

If Destiny 2 players have already spent their Bright Dust and need more, luckily there are numerous ways that players can earn the currency in-game. Destiny 2 Bright Dust can be earned by completing bounties, leveling up the season pass, completing Triumphs, collecting Bright Engrams, and completing weekly challenges. Someone that plays Destiny 2 and completes its weekly activities regularly should have no problem amassing a decent stash of Bright Dust in the game.
The next big batch of Destiny 2 cosmetics and other content will be coming next month with the launch of The Witch Queen expansion. Like with other Destiny 2 expansions, The Witch Queen will be adding new story missions for players to complete and new locations to explore. It will also be introducing weapon crafting to Destiny 2 as well as a new weapon in the form of the polearm. The Witch Queen is clearly set to make some massive changes to Destiny 2, and it will be interesting to see how fans react come launch.
Bungie has also given fans a glimpse at what they can expect from Destiny 2 beyond The Witch Queen expansion as well. 2023 will see the launch of the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion, which will then be followed by The Final Shape in 2024. Bungie’s current plan is for Destiny 2’s Final Shape expansion to wrap up the current storyline, so it will be interesting to see what happens next.
Perhaps The Final Shape will be followed up by the launch of Destiny 3, or maybe Bungie will continue iterating on Destiny 2 instead. That’s a long way away, though, and for now Destiny 2 players can focus on enjoying the 30th Anniversary celebration and looking ahead to The Witch Queen.
Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
