In addition, the season’s first exotic quest also went live a couple weeks ago, leading players to the Western repeater looking exotic known as Dead Man’s Tale. The quest chain itself took players to an abandoned ship on the outskirts of the Tangled Shore, providing a challenge for most players attempting to get the unique looking scout rifle. While fan experiences towards these activities have been extremely positive, they haven’t been without issue.

Earlier today, Bungie released the latest hot fix for Destiny 2, fixing a number of issues and targeting a few bugs related to Battlegrounds as well as the Presage quest. In addition to fixing a Korean translation with enemy names, the Battlegrounds activities sometimes would prevent beneficial modifiers from functioning. In addition, there were times when Colossus enemies would get lost on the battlefield. Both of these issues have been fixed.

In terms of Presage, Bungie fixed the respawn system, which in the past could respawn players in unfavorable areas, leading to more deaths. Additionally, Bungie also fixed an issue where players could launch the Presage activity for the first time, without actually owning the quest. Bungie is also planning to fix the issue with players launching the master version of the activity without the Catalyst quest being active on the account.

The update also fixed a number of issues related to bounties and weekly pursuits, weapon and armor ornaments, as well as a damage buff to the Warlock’s stasis ability, Penumbral Blast. This hotfix reverts the previous changes made to it by increasing the detonation damage to a base of 80. While many Warlock players would agree this is a good first step for the once heavily nerfed Shadebinder stasis subclass, there’s still a ways to go until it becomes truly viable once more.
